Jebel Jais
Jebel Jais is a centrepiece of Marjan’s leisure portfolio and a defining element of Ras Al Khaimah’s identity as the UAE’s adventure capital. Located on the UAE’s tallest peak, Jebel Jais Adventure Park’s attractions include Jais Flight – the world’s longest zipline – and Jais Sledder, the region’s longest toboggan ride, draw visitors from around the world.
Bear Grylls Explorers Camp strengthens the offer with survival courses and outdoor skills programmes for individuals, school groups and corporate teams. The Jais Sky Tour adds another layer to the experience with a series of ziplines set more than 1,600 metres above sea level.
Paired with 1484 by Puro – the UAE’s highest restaurant at 1,484 metres – these attractions have helped establish Jebel Jais as one of the country’s most popular year-round leisure destinations.

Events Strategy
Safarak, Marjan’s events division, delivers end-to-end planning and management for meetings, incentives and large-scale activations. Its work helps position Ras Al Khaimah as one of the region’s leading destinations for business and leisure events.
Safarak’s services range from programme design and venue sourcing to curated excursions, team-building activities and themed experiences. Its teams manage logistics, supplier coordination and on-the-ground delivery, working closely with partners to deliver world-class events across the emirate.
As a member of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), Safarak plays a leading role promoting Ras Al Khaimah within the global meetings industry. This expertise helps strengthens the emirate’s events calendar and supports its wider tourism and investment ambitions.

Cultural Districts
Cultural districts form a core component of future development at Marjan Beach and RAK Central. These districts sit alongside their respective civic clusters and will house regular arts and culture events, promoting community engagement.
At Marjan Beach, the cultural district is envisioned as a waterfront hub with indoor and outdoor spaces for exhibitions, performances and public events. It will complement the surrounding mixed-use environment and support a year-round programme of events.
Meanwhile, at RAK Central, public art activations and cultural institutions will be integrated into the city’s emerging civic and business core. These venues and public spaces will host regular performances, civic events and educational initiatives, helping create a vibrant and always lively cultural hub.
